Now you may be thinking what I thought: Ughh, sappy love story about unrequited love. And I must admit, at the beginning of the movie I was cringing and eye-rolling hard. But as the movie progresses a real storyline is developed and I found myself unable to look away.

HUGE spoilers ahead so be warned.
----------
I won't explain every event of the movie—you can watch it for yourself, right? I will say that after finishing it only 3 minutes ago I'm left with a deep set sadness inside of my core.
Throughout the whole movie I was kind of on edge because I knew that K was dying. I was curious when and how it would play out. At around the time that K initially fainted I was sucked in. I was really feeling for him even though I, evidently, can't relate to that particular feeling of being a terminal patient, I've been depressed and I know what it's like to hold it all in and let none of it show.
As time passes and Cream develops a serious relationship with the dentist, we see that K is barely making his way around. He's distant, disconnected, and shuffling around on his feet. I've definitely been there so seeing this really hit home for me. But I must say the part that really got me was after K and Cream took the photo together dressed in typical bride and groom attire. I'd been trying to hold in my tears, but seeing K barely—JUST BARELY—hold himself from sobbing as he took off his jacket set me off completely! I was bawling mess as he also was a bawling mess walking down the busy street. I try not to use this in my reviews but: I CANNOT EVEN. My evening ability is nonexistant.
Here's a few more things that had me crying like a small infant:
• K giving Cream away to the dentist.
• Cream actually knowing FULL-WELL that K was dying.
Which! Side-note: I completely understood why she hid it from him but at the same time I felt that she REALLY SHOULD HAVE JUST TOLD HIM DANGFLABBIT!
• Everything in Cream's perspective had me crying actually…
• The very last scene where we find that Cream actually committed suicide to be with K again, the tape, the photo, the "If I Could Live Again" song finally being played. Cinematic gold if you ask me.
But of course every thing has it's flaws and here are just a few that I found:
• The beginning of the movie was beyond cliché and I almost disliked it enough to stop watching. But in all honesty the majority of my fanfictions have the same problem…
• The dentist's ex-fiance. She irritated me. I did not like her attitude or her haircut or how she thought smoking and taking pictures was cool. Smoking while being a photographer in a movie should be a crime. Only leads to bad things.
Anyways that's all I have to say on the matter! This movie was a definite 5/5 and I would totally recommend it to my friends—if they were into that kind of thing or if they actually listened to my suggestions.I have to go put a cold rag on my face to prevent puffiness from all my tears now. Let me know what you guys think if you've seen More Than Blue! Agree? Disagree? I'd love to know your opinions.
Farewell and don't forget to brush your teeth! (Reference to the movie. Oh dear.)
